Govt allocates TK 1 crore to provide accommodation for Hadi's family

The interim government has approved a
"special grant" of Tk 1 crore for purchasing and furnishing a 1,215-square-foot government flat at Doel Tower in Lalmatia for the family of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Moncho. The Finance Ministry approved the allocation on Tuesday (January 20)
following a request from the Ministry of Housing and Public Works.
The expenditure will come from the Tk 6 crore allocated under the "residential buildings" category of the current fiscal year for the Housing Ministry. However, the handover of the flat is subject to verification of the identities of Osman Hadi's wife and child.
